Introduction to Training (Ages 8 - 12) How do you start your kids on the path to becoming fit, athletic, and agile? Teach them how to master movement !
Our Intro. to Training program will build functional strength through a neuromuscular training philosophy, based on training movement, and creating healthy fundamental motor patterns (running/skipping/sliding). Intro. to training is about building athletic movement, linked system strength, power, transitional balance, coordination, mind-muscle integration and sequential muscle firing from the inside out. Coaches will identify and train up any weak links in the kinetic chain and train the athlete to build core stability and strength, increase joint mobility and stability, and build full-body integrated strength. Additionally a large focus will be on run and sprint mechanics.
Our Introduction to Training program runs from July 8th - August 29th, 2019 (8 weeks)
Training Days: Mondays: 2:00-3:00pm Thursday: 2:00-3:00pm
