New athletes can expect to have fun, and to be challenged. Prime' creates a positive and motivating training environment, allowing young athletes to gain positive experiences, memories which ultimately create healthy, and long relationship with physical activity.
Our Spring Break program will also be a great program to bridge athletes into some of our spring programs such as: Youth Strength Development (YSD), Introduction to Training, Athlete Speed and Strength, Spring Off-Season Hockey Training. Our 2 Week Spring Break Program will build functional strength and speed through a neuromuscular training philosophy, based on training movement, and creating healthy fundamental motor patterns. This program is about building athletic movement, linked system strength, power, transitional balance, coordination, mind-muscle integration and sequential muscle firing from the inside out.
Coaches will provide a fun and supportive environment which will engage the athlete to build core stability and strength, increase joint mobility and stability, and build full-body integrated strength. Additionally a large focus will be on run and sprint mechanics.
